Proxy Paige was born Naomi Field on May 19, 1989, in Bismarck, North Dakota, United States. She grew up in a family with French and Russian roots, which contributed to her unique look and personality early on. From a young age she was curious and artistic, interests that would later shape her career path outside of her hometown. After finishing high school she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she took a job working in an adult retail store, giving her early exposure to the adult entertainment world and lifestyle before she ever appeared in front of a camera.

When she was 18 a friend accidentally sent some of her photos to an adult website, and the response she received opened the door to a new career opportunity.
